The new Ludwig Club Date kits are designed to be a throwback to the Club Date kits of the 60's, with some modern updates.  Featuring 6 ply cherry and gumwood shells with fully rounded bearing edges, these kits have the warm, dry tone that could be expected of a vintage kit, with more stable and reliable legs and mounting hardware.  The kick mounted rail consolette allows for easy positioning of the rack tom.  These kits are available in three different size configurations (Jazzette, Downbeat, and Fab 3) and four colors (olive sparkle, ruby sparkle, silver sparkle, and white marine pearl).  This particular kit is in the Downbeat configuration (12x8, 14x14, 20x14) in the ruby sparkle finish.  The matching 5x14 snare is also available.  The snare, hardware, and cymbals pictured are not included.
