The year this beauty left the humble Fender Fullerton factory, Elvis Presley joined the army, The United States put the first satellite into orbit around Earth and Tequila by the Champs was on the charts.  53 years later this guitar has only gotten sweeter and sweeter and is now an absolute blues and rock dream machine.  

Summary

Body: Solid alder, '58 body date

Neck: Maple neck and fretboard with black dot inlays, '58 neck date

Pickups/Hardware: Three single coil pickups, three-way pickup selector switch, chrome bridge cover, tremolo bar, and Kluson deluxe tuners, '58 pot dates

Cosmetic Condition: This is one fine '58! There's some light checking on the body, a few spots of finish wear, mostly on the back from buckle rash and on the sides. The neck has just a couple of small dings in the back and is still nice and glossy.

Modifications: There's some touched up solder joints, two small patches of overspray on the side, otherwise it's all original.
