The year this beauty left the humble Fender Fullerton factory, Elvis Presley joined the army, The United States put the first satellite into orbit around Earth and "Tequila" by the Champs was on the charts. Fifty three years later this guitar has only gotten sweeter and sweeter and is now an absolute blues and rock dream machine! This 58's playability is top notch with lots of life left on the original frets and a thicker but very manageable and comfortable neck profile. The contoured body and deep, off-set, double cutaways that looked so futuristic in the 1950's have now come to define the "classic" electric guitar look. All of this time later, and even with countless imitations, there's nothing quite like a Fender Stratocaster, and this '58 is one terrifically fine example of this fact.
Body: Solid alder
