Summary

Body: Mahogany

Neck: Mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard

Pickups/Hardware: Two soapbar pickups, three-way pickup selector switch, and independent tone and volume controls

Cosmetic Condition: The entire guitar has some nice, fine checking all over. The body has some dings and scratches on it here and there, mostly on the back and sides. There's some light finish wear on the edges. The neck looks great and is still very glossy. The headstock is also in good condition. The tuner is slightly bent, but perfectly functional. This gold top looks incredible for its age, and plays better than any other '52 we've ever had.

Modifications: The tailpiece has been replaced by a custom Joe Glazer-designed one, the original is included. The neck has been professionally refretted. The frets used had a slightly flatter fret radius to match better with the custom low-profile tailpiece. An area of surface rash on the bottom was repaired long ago, it looks like it may have finish overspray.
