Cosmetic Condition: This 1960’s Kay is a blast from the past. This parlor-esque guitar has a unique tonality and is a joy to play. The finish on the body has accrued plenty of character over the years. There are cracks, dents and checking lines throughout the body. There is a large crack on the lower side. There is heavy edge wear throughout the guitar. The neck has lots of finish removed and checking. The headstock shows checking and edge wear. This Old Kraftsmen is one nifty little guitar.
Playability: Plays well up to the 12th fret.
Modifications/Repairs: The neck has been reset. A crack in the side has been repaired. The endpin is missing. The tailpiece has been replaced with a repro tail piece. The bridge has been replaced with a repro bridge.
