There are some checking lines throughout the lacquer but they are very light for the most part. The back and sides are also clean aside from a few minor blemishes and some light scratches from buckle rash. The neck is clean and glossy overall with a gorgeous hand-carved design in it and some very minor lacquer wear around the 1st position. The headstock has some lovely ornate inlay work and is in very nice shape aside from a few small chips and dings. This handmade guitar was beautifully crafted with high-end materials and is extremely resonant with rich low end and crisp highs. It looks as gorgeous as it sounds!
