Body: Original Silverburst finish

Neck: Medium “C” shaped neck with a, 1 3/4” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 20” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Vintage-style tuners, three lipstick pickups (rated at 3.6 kOhms in the neck, 1.7 k in the middle, and 3.5 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: The top is looking great with its finish swirling, and various dings, dents and scratches adding to the vintage vibe of this 50’s guitar. The back and sides have their fair share of scuffs, finish chips, dings and scratches (included the word “son” scratched near the center of the lower bout), but overall are looking good. Also worth noting, most of the edges are nicely worn to the point of exposing the underlying wood. The neck and headstock are nice and smooth with hardly a mark to be found. This Danelectro is bursting with character!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: Repro cavity cover, two doweled holes from a removed tail piece near the rear strap button, and one doweled hole on the side, near the bass side of the neck, “son” scratched into the back. Three-way switch is non-original and the knobs look old but are probably repro.
