Neck: Maple neck with a medium “c” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 9.5” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Fender tuners, three single-coils (rated at 6.8 kOhms in the neck, 7.0 k in the middle and 8.1 k in the bridge), five-way pickup selector switch, one volume and two tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: This American Standard has seen some miles but is still shining bright There is a lot of noticeable wear throughout the body in the form of chips and play wear. There is one large piece of the finish on the bass side horn, it’s about the size of a dime and a very small chip missing behind the bridge. The sides have some scuffs and edge wear. The back of the body is missing the back plate, exposing the vibrato system. There are a few noticeable dents and one large chip near the strap pin. The neck has a handful of small dents and play wear. The head stock shows some edge wear and and some wear around the truss rod hole. This Strat may look a little mean, but couldn’t sound any sweeter!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
