Body: Original sunburst finish

Neck:Maple neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 1/2” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, and block inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Fender tuners, two jazzmaster pickups (rated at 9.6 kOhms in the neck and 8.3 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, two position rhythm/lead switch, volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: This Vintage Jazzmaster has plenty of great character! The top has several small dings and scratches. Most notably, there are a few rash patches along the bass side. The back is relatively clean for its age, with some finish swirling, and a few small scratches and scuffs throughout, but not much for buckle rash. The sides and edges have several dings, chips and dents, most notably along the bass horn on the back side, but overall are looking good. The neck is nice and glossy, except for a large patch between the nut and 4th fret where the finish has chipped off. This large scale finish chipping is mirrored along the back and sides of headstock, where a bit of edge wear is also found around the crown. This Jazzmaster is gorgeous!

Playability: The strings are set-up nicely with medium-low action, and play well, but the guitar would need fretwork to lower any further.

Modifications/Repairs: Repro tone pot (1978 code visible), replaced jack
