Neck: Maple neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.5” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Open-back Fender tuners, one single-coil (rated at 5.6 kOhms), volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: This 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass is ready to gig. The olympic white body is sun-faded and has many marks of wear throughout the body. There are some heavier dents on the back. There is the faint outline of some lettering on the front of the body. The neck is in good shape with some wear. The headstock has a very large chip on the front of it, but is otherwise looking good. This short scale is ready for the big time!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: Several solder joints have been touched up. The pickguard pickup route was widened for a larger pickup. The original pickup has been reinstalled so the route is a bit oversized. The output jack has been replaced.
Weight: 7lbs 13oz
