Body: Original Black finish

Neck: Maple neck with a “C” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Fender tuners, one pickup, volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: Inspection of this Musicmaster reveals the many lives that this vintage beast has lived. The top is covered in checking lines, swirling, chips, dings, scratches and dents. Visible between the guard a bridge is a rough (but painted) piece of wood that was added to the routed body for repro guard installation. Also worth nothing, the saddles and neck plate screws are very corroded. The back and sides are also nicely checked, with plenty of large scale scuffs, as well as a heavy hand of scratches and dings. The neck and headstock are smooth and comfortable aside from a small dent behind the 5th fret, and some nice checking and a few scratches to the face of the headstock. This vintage Fender is ready to get back on the road!

Playability: The strings are nicely with medium action, play well, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The body has been routed to accommodate a humbucker, bridge pickup, and toggle switch. A woodblock (painted black) has been added for pickguard mounting. The guitar has been rewired with a new hardness, and the pickup replaced. The pickguard has also been replaced. The hardware has rust and corrosion throughout. The intonation pieces for the D and G strings have seized, as well as the low E height screw.
