Body: Alder

Neck: maple neck with a soft “v” profile, maple fretboard, dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Open-back tuners, one single-coil, thumb rest, volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: Holy Moly! You don’t see these everyday. This 1957– excuse me, NINETEEN FIFTY-SEVEN Sunburst P-bass is in remarkable condition. The sunburst finish has worn and faded a bit over time, but it looks great! There is a bit of wear on the face of the guitar, some of the finish is worn awaynear the pickup and bridge covers. There is a dent near the volume knob and checking lines throughout the body. There are some nicks and dents along the sides and heavy buckle rash on the back of the body. The neck is in great shape with no major dents or cracks. The headstock has some edge wear on the back and some light lacquer wear. The tuning keys show aging. This vintage P-bass is seriously stunning and will wake up anyones sleepy little town!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The knobs have been replaced. The pickguard has been modified slightly to accommodate the after-market pickup cover. The original pickup cover is in the case.
