Body: Original finish, serial number dates to 1964

Neck: Maple neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Kluson Deluxe tuners, three single-coils (rated at 6.2kOhms in the neck and bridge, and 6.1k in the middle), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls (visible ’64 pot and pickup dates)

Cosmetic Condition: Stunning. Brilliant. Gorgeous. Just some of the words that have been used to describe this ’64 Strat. The body is simply fantastic and like Meryl Streep, only gets better with age. There are a few faint checking lines and other minor wear but otherwise the finish is incredibly clean with mostly very minor pick marks. There is a small gouge on the treble side of the lower bout but otherwise the back and sides are in great shape and free of buckle rash. The neck is nicely worn but still very smooth just a small dent on the bass side near the nut. The fretboard is in nice shape with a few indentations and minor dings from usual play but no serious damage. The headstock is also looking great with some light wear around the edges and a touched up hole from where an extra string tree was added (now removed). This Strat is aging truly beautifully!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: Doweled hole from extra string tree, replaced nut, replaced saddle screws, missing one backplate screw, backplate cracked at a few of the screw points, one large gouge on side with some touch up
