Neck: Maple neck and fretboard with a medium “C” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays (serial number dates to 1977/78)
Pickups/Hardware: Fender tuners, two single-coils (rated at 6.8kOhms in the neck and 6.1k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls (Electronics all original, visible 1979 pot code)
Cosmetic Condition: This is one helluva Tele. If it weren’t for the serial number and pot dates you’d swear this thing came out last year. The body is immaculate with hardly a mark to be found. The pickguard has been replaced and has just a few marks on it from normal play. The neck and headstock are also pristine with no notable dings or dents. The original hardshell case is in just as good condition if not better. This is truly a “closet classic” if we’ve ever seen one!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: Replaced pickguard
Weight: 7lbs 10oz
Case: Original hardshell
