Body: Semi-hollow maple laminate

Neck: Three-piece maple neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and small block inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Kluson Deluxe tuners, two humbuckers (rated at 9.4kOhms in the neck and 8.9k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls (The pickups are original Gibson patent numbers stickers. The wiring harness has been completely replaced. The guitar is now wired like a 335 or Les Paul.)

Cosmetic Condition: The finish looks great with some nice checking lines and a beautiful wood grain. There are a few minor blemishes in the top and some light buckle rash on the back but overall the guitar is very clean for its age. The neck lacquer is well worn down the center and sides but it still plays nicely with mostly minor blemishes. The headstock is nicely checked and looking good. The logo is chipping away but overall the guitar is looking nice. This ES-340 is a vintage treat!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play nicely, and ring out clearly across the board with minor buzz in spots. The frets are wide and flat with considerable play wear. The guitar would benefit from a refret for optimum playability.

Modifications/Repairs: The wiring harness has been fully replaced and functions like a 335 or Les Paul. The strap buttons have been replaced.
