Body: Spruce top with mahogany back and sides

Neck: Three-piece maple neck with a medium-round profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: No electronics

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has considerable player wear including dings, scratches, cracks and buckle rash as well as four repaired cracks in the top but overall it is structurally sound and looking good for its age. There is a cigarette burn on the pickguard as well as some very slight shrinkage but no lifting. The finish has some nice faint checking lines throughout the body and has held up nicely over the years. The neck lacquer is a bit worn down from normal use but the neck is nice and smooth with only some light blemishes. The headstock has some wing separation on the treble side as well as average string scratches and dings but no cracks or repairs. This J-45 has been well played but it’s a gorgeous vintage acoustic that looks as good as it sounds!

Playability: There is a slight twist in the neck but the strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has had a recent neck reset. There are 4 repaired cracks in the top. One of the cracks runs the entire length of the body and is in line with the inside edge of the pickguard and the treble side of the fingerboard. The long crack has been glued and cleated, but some sections of the crack have not completely closed up. This is mostly apparent at the sound hole, where there is a small gap between each side of the crack.
