Body: Spruce top with mahogany back and sides
Neck: Mahogany neck with a fat “V” profile, 1 3/4” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Original tuners, no electronics
Cosmetic Condition: The body is aging wonderfully, with a very dense pattern of checking. The top has a heavy amount of dings, scratches and finish chips that give this vintage beauty some great character. The back and sides are similarly worn, with a nice patch of hazing in the center, and a large stable crack through the lower bout adding some extra cred. The neck finish has all but worn off, revealing gorgeous mahogany below, with just a few dings to interrupt its smoothness. Not surprisingly, the headstock has a strong amount of edge wear, and tons of beautiful play wear. This Gibson is gorgeous!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: There are a few repaired cracks along the back. The board has been regretted. The bride and nut have been replaced.
Case: Original chipboard
From Taylor: Beautifully crafted in Sapele/ Mahogany, this stand features a laser-etched Taylor logo, a rich satin finish, and rubber pads to protect your guitar’s finish
