Body: Maple top on a mahogany body
Neck: Maple neck with a “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, ebony fretboard, 12” radius, and block inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Gibson tuners, two humbuckers (rated at 7 kOhms in the neck and 13.8 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: The top and sides have plenty of character in the form of light scratches, scuffs and dings, but overall are holding up nicely. The back has a heavy amount of buckle rash, wearing down to the underlying mahogany in two large patches. Beyond this there are lots of dings and scratches, but nothing out of the ordinary for a Les Paul of this era. The neck is nice and smooth, while the headstock shows just a bit of edge wear, and plenty of finish checking along the face. This vintage Les Paul is ready for the main stage!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been refretted, with a good amount of related chipping. The nut and caps have been replaced. A Seymour Duncan bridge pickup has been added, as well as a ground wire. Missing pickguard screw and nut.
Weight: 10lbs 1oz
Case: Original hardshell
