Body: Maple cap on a mahogany body (pencil in cavity read “10–20-77”
Neck: Maple neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and trapezoid inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Grover tuners, two mini-humbuckers (rated at 6.1 kOhms in the neck and 6.2 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: The top is smattered in character giving dings, scratches and scuffs. The back and sides have plenty of buckle rash and play wear, but otherwise are holding up well. The neck has some light texture behind the higher frets, but is otherwise in nice shape. The headstock has a good amount of edge wear, with a few dings and a fair amount of finish chipping taking center stage. This Les Paul is a beast!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: The back of the headstock has been refinished, possibly to cover a previous repair. The tuners, strap buttons, switch tip, pick up screws, bridge, pots and caps, jack and plate have all been replaced.
