Body: Mahogany

Neck: Mahogany neck with a medium/small “C” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 9.5” radius, and trapezoid inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Grover tuners, two humbuckers (rated at 8 kOhms in the neck and 7.6 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls (one original pot stamped “62”)

Cosmetic Condition: The body on this vintage beast has some beautiful checking lines. The top has a few dings and light scratches, as well as a fair bit of oxidation on the hardware, and some warping along the guard, but is otherwise aging nicely. The back and sides show a fair amount of buckle rash, dings, chips and edge wear. The neck is quite clean for its age, and feels like home. The headstock has plenty of edge wear, dings, scratches, and chips, as well as some finish cracking along the face. The footprints of the original tuners are visible along the back side. This SG is ready to rock!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: At some point there was a neck repair done. The heel was stained, and the entire guitar was oversprayed. There is one missing pickup ring screw. The tuners have been replaced.
