Neck: Mahogany neck with a round “C” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, ebony fretboard, 12” radius, and block inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Gibson tuners, two humbuckers (rated at 5.2 kOhms in the neck and 7.3 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: The top is looking great, with plenty of character in the form of light dings, scratches and a good looking checking pattern. There is a non-structurally significant crack that runs from the treble side of the neck pickup ring along the treble side horn/neck pocket. The back and sides are smattered with dings, scratches, rash and edge wear, giving this vintage beauty a great worn-in vibe. The neck is smooth and comfortable, with just very minor dings to be found. The headstock has plenty of finish chips along its edges, as well as a very strong checking pattern. There is a headstock repair visible along the volute. This SG is one killer axe!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: The headstock has a touched up repair.
Weight: 7lbs 8oz
Case: Non-original chipboard
