Body: Spruce top with mahogany back and sides
Neck: Mahogany neck with a soft-V profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 16” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Grover tuners, no electronics
Cosmetic Condition: There is some case rash on the top at the tail and next to the soundhole but otherwise the top is looking good with some nice checking lines and just light play wear. The pickguard has been replaced but the rest of the guitar is all original. The guitar has finish checking throughout but the back is very clean with mostly light patches of wear. The neck and headstock are both nice and glossy with on some light blemishes and no cracks or repairs. This D-18 has held up very nicely over the years and has aged beautifully!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board. The saddle is very low and the guitar would benefit from a neck reset for optimum adjustability.
Modifications/Repairs: Repro pickguard
Weight: 4lbs 6oz
Case: Original hardshell
From Taylor: Beautifully crafted in Sapele/ Mahogany, this stand features a laser-etched Taylor logo, a rich satin finish, and rubber pads to protect your guitar’s finish
