Body: Original Red finish
Neck: Medium “C” shaped neck, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and pearloid inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Kluson deluxe tuners, one humbucker (rated at 6.8 kOhms), three-way tone switch, volume and tone controls (visible ’62 pot codes)
Cosmetic Condition: This is one undeniably awesome National! The top has some light surface scratches, but otherwise is aging very nicely. The back and sides show moderate rash and various light scratches, but overall are looking great for their age. The neck has plenty of dings and dents, especially in 2nd position, but nothing out of the ordinary from a guitar of this era. The headstock has a fair amount of edge wear, especially around the crown, as well as a few small chips along the back. If you aren’t falling for this National, then You Don’t Know What Love is!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
