Vintage correct single-coil Jazzmaster® pickup. Recommended for country, pop, surf, blues, jazz and classic rock.
Introduced in 1957 to provide a mellow sound for jazz Players, surf guitarists were soon using this cool guitar and pickup combination. Every detail in sound, construction and appearance is faithfully duplicated in this vintage pickup. Output is moderate; and mids and highs are boosted. Comes with waxed cloth hookup cable. Does not include a cover.
For warmer toned ash, alder or basswood body instruments. Works especially well with rosewood fingerboards.
