Finish Details: Original finish.

Body Details: Flamed maple back and sides with spruce top. The bridge and pickguard have been reglued.

Neck Details: Maple neck with mahogany center seam, bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and crown inlays. The neck has been reset. There is a notable chip in the bass side lower portion of the headstock. The nut has been replaced. There are four small circular areas on the headstock that have checked differently in comparison to the rest of the finish on the headstock. The frets have been leveled.
Hardware: The nut and saddle have been replaced. The bridge has been built up to its original height with an overlaid piece of rosewood. All other hardware is original/ unmodified.

Modifications/Repairs: The neck has been reset, the bridge has been built up with an overlaid piece of rosewood and reglued, the pickguard has been reglued, the nut and saddle have been replaced. There is a repaired crack extending from the back of the bridge to the edge of the lower bout. There is also a repaired crack in the top along the inside of the pick guard These repairs are stable and not affecting playability. The finish has not been touched up over these repairs.
Case Details: Original hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in good condition with wear consistent with wear and use. The finish is weather-checked with wear, chips, scratches, and dings throughout. The pickguard has shrunk and is weather-checked. There is wear into the wood on the top around the soundhole and under the strings from play. There are four small circular areas on the headstock that have checked differently in comparison to the rest of the finish on the headstock. There is a notable chip in the bass side lower portion of the headstock. There is some case rash on the back of the body and the neck heel. Some divots have formed in the fingerboard from play.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with optimal action. The frets are wide and medium height, with moderate wear. The serial number dates to 1959.
