Body Material: Ash
Body Details: Solid two piece ash body, which has been fully refinished. The preserved pencil marks date to 1953. There is a filled route for a modern P-bass pickup visible on the front of the body, just under the pickup cover. It was filled prior to the refinish.

Cosmetic Condition: The aging on this bass is stunning; the refinish was worn and checked, with numerous areas of wear, small dings, and scratches/grooves and looks very authentic. The hardware has moderate tarnish, and the back has mild buckle rash. The neck shows noticeable finish wear along the back and on the fingerboard, and is smooth and comfortable to play.
Serial Number: 0666
Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and light neck relief; the frets are fairly low with mild wear. The pencil dates on the body and neck, and the serial number, date to 1953.
