Pickup Measurements: Neck: 8 kΩ, Bridge: 8.3 kΩ

Hardware: Non-original Schaller brand tuning machines, single-ply white pickguard, and an aftermarket bridge have been installed. A Badass bridge was installed previously and its footprint is still visible around the bridge.

Cosmetic Condition: This Geddy Lee-ified vintage J-Bass shows nice play wear and aging. Wear marks, nicks, chips, dings, and other various blemishes exist throughout the instrument. The footprint from a previously installed Badass bridge is visible around the current bridge.

Tech Notes: Currently, set up with round wound strings and medium-low action. The truss rod functions properly, though the neck does sight with a very slight swoop near the tongue. This is common among this era of Fender Jazz Bass. Regardless, the bass sets up well with the current action set. The frets are wide and low showing only light play wear. -- The electronics and serial number date this Fender from 1973.
