Cosmetic Condition: The bass shows moderate wear in addition to the refinish. The finish has swirls and light scratches throughout, as well as multiple dings and small blemishes throughout. The pickguard has cracked in a few spots and shows some warping, but is secure. The edges of the body have many small dings and finish chips, particularly along the front and back edges of the treble side. There is a finish chip which appears to have been drop-filled on the back of the bass horn; the back of the body also shows considerable buckle rash. The back of the neck has a few scattered dings, but is mostly smooth. The headstock face also has some wear around the edges.
Serial Number: 19956
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and light neck relief; the neck has a slight twist resulting in more relief on the treble side, but the bass has been set up to accommodate this. The pot codes, serial number, and body appointments date the bass to 1961.
