Keeley ECCOS Modulated Delay/Looper Shell Pink Sparkle

Brand New

Description & Specs

The true-stereo Keeley ECCOS artfully combines a delay pedal and a looper. At the heart of the ECCOS is a neo-vintage delay with unprecedented control over tape-style echoes. Create long and majestic sounding tape flanged delay lines and then switch to the feature-packed Looper to record endless layers of sound! Dual stomp switches in delay mode are for true-bypass, tap-tempo and even endless feedback – but in looper mode they allow you to record, play, reverse, half-speed and even trigger a “play-once”. Live or as a studio workstation the delay and looper work together giving you endless room for creating and experimenting in a small footprint. With over four years of development on the Quad 24/56-bit Dream DSP, Keeley has reached the pinnacle of delay sound quality with the amazing new tones in the ECCOS.

The ECCOS now features Sound on Sound Mode! Sound on sound mode lets you record without erasing the original loop. The volume of the loops degrade over time, recreating a vintage reel to reel recording technique. To set the decay of the loops, hold down the FDBK knob and adjust the Depth control. This alt control comes in handy when using Sound on Sound Mode.

The ECCOS features advanced independent switching. The Delay or the Looper can be turned on and off independently. You can start the Looper without without a Delay Setting.

Great Delay & Looper

I use a Pedaltrain Nano. My delay was the Strymon Volante. Over a year and a half with the Volante I realized I used it mostly for clean dotted eighth notes or quarter note type delay sounds. Also, for practice, I used the looper daily. The only negative for the Volante is the size of the pedal. I decided to give the Keeley Eccos a shot. Since it was smaller, I could add another drive pedal to my board. My main concern was ease of use, going back and forth between looper & delay. Also would the sound quality match the Volante? The Eccos is a great pedal! The modulation is different than the Volante but I use these features sparingly on either pedal. The looper sound quality has the same high fidelity as the Volante. It’s easier to stack multiple loops. I did read the manual. There are many secondary functions that I tweaked to get my delay sound how I wanted it. Finally, like the Volante, there is storage for three delay presets. The Volante provides 8 the Eccos provides 3. For my situation the Eccos is the better choice although I’m still keeping the Volante it’s also a great pedal. CME was great getting me the pedal in two days. I’ll definitely buy from them again. PS, I got the sparkle pink box which looks great.

Great pedal and CME rocks

A great sounding delay with lots of depth and some enjoyable quirks. This is actually my second Eccos, as I couldn't resist the pink sparkle CME version. Speaking of CME, they made ordering from Australia a breeze, with super fast shipping. Highly recommended.
