Description & Specs

A no-frills classic made for players of all levels, the Fender Player Telecaster is a true workhorse guitar. Fender keeps the specs stock across the board with an alder body, two Player Series single-coils, 9.5"-radius fingerboard, and string-through bridge with bent-steel saddles, updating only the neck profile to a very playable "Modern C" shape. Rugged and ready, this it the Telecaster. Simple but never plain.

Founded by Leo Fender in 1938 as Fender's Radio Service, what is now the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation began making electric guitars and amplifiers in 1945. The rest, as they say, is history. Creator of the world's first mass-produced, and by far most popular, solid-bodied electric, Fender is now the world's leading guitar manufacturer. Replacing the now-discontinued Standard series, the Fender Player Series honors the core Fender classics with quality construction, vintage-inspired finishes, select modern updates, and friendly price points that appeal to a range of aspiring and experienced players.

Beauty

I have been wanting an Olive Green Tele for awhile but couldn't make myself spend the $1600 for an American Pro. Then I found this Player Series Olive on CME. Working with Jason made the purchase a breeze. It arrived on time in perfect shape. The guitar is stunning. Excellent setup out of the box. This is my first purchase from Chicago Music Exchange, but it won't be my last. Thanks

No setup required

Frankly, after reading the other setup issues on here, I was concerned until I received the guitar. The strings had been loosened for shipping and after a quick tuning I found the action and other issues set just as I would want for myself. The double boxing included heavy-duty bubble wrap and I was pleased with a 3-day delivery time to Tulsa from date of order (on a Sunday). Great experience CME. Even the UPS driver gave a friendly wave as he drove off. The color reflects my image of Tele's being built like a tank. I'm enjoying exploring the range of tones and classic sounds this guitar is capable of right out of the box.

If you decide you'd like to return an item, please contact your Sales Rep, chat us, or give us a call.

If you placed your order on Amazon or eBay, we advise issuing the return request from your account on the platform of purchase - our Customer Service team will process a refund upon receipt of the item(s).

Most new items may be returned within 30 days of delivery and most vintage & used items may be returned within 3 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. Please pack the product safely for the journey back to us. If the product was shipped for free, the charge will be deducted from refund, unless the reason for the return is outside normal circumstances.
