Electronics: The pickup has been spliced into the harness, but is an era-correct Melody Maker style single coil pickup; it is unclear if it's original to the instrument. The plastic baseplate of the pickup has been replaced. The wiring harness is original, with volume/tone controls. The pot codes date to 1964/1965.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely; the finish has some patches of haze on the front, along with plenty of attractive finish checking as well as some small blemishes. The back of the body and the neck have additional minor blemishes.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and minor neck relief; it is currently set up with 10s, and the truss rod is adjustable. The frets are wide and fairly low with minor wear. The serial number, pot codes, and body appointments date the guitar to 1965.
