Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar shows some normal wear for its age; the finish has checking and hazing throughout the body and neck, multiple small dings and chips, and wear around the F-holes. Some of the finish has worn away in layers along the back of the neck, and there are additional small dings as well. There is a repaired headstock break which has resulted in some small missing bits and finish wear; the finish appears not to have been touched up in this area. |
Serial Number: | 360265 |
Tech Notes: | Plays well with low action and minor neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s, and the truss rod is functional. The frets are wide and low with moderate wear in the first position. The serial number dates the guitar to 1965, but the Sparkling Burgundy finish and neck joint would likely make this a 1968. |
