Finish Details: Finish appears original. Glossy and relatively free of checking.

Body Details: Small crack repair on back near the bottom of body along bookmatch seam, case rash on back.

Neck Details: Original frets and nut. Truss rod has limited adjustability, but will achieve optimal relief under string tension. Stinger headstock with front and back inlays. The D tuner has been replaced with correct period tuning machine with mismatched button. A small hole has been drilled in the treble side of the tongue to mount pickguard.
Hardware: Hardware appears original except for D tuning machine. Brazilian rosewood bridge and bridge base. Foam has been added to pickguard for mounting purposes.
Weight: 6lbs 2oz
Modifications/Repairs: D tuning machine has been replaced, the pickguard has been mounted with foam added to its bottom and a new mounting hole in the tongue of the neck.
Case Details: Original hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in good condition with moderate wear. There are small scratches, dents, finish swirls, areas of finish hazing, and finish wear throughout. The hardware is lightly oxidized. Finish is glossy and relatively free of checking overall.
Serial Number: A1299
Tech Notes: Guitar is currently set up with nickel .12 gauge roundwound strings and plays well with comfortable action and optimal neck relief in the treble side of the neck. Under tension, the bass side of the neck has slightly more relief than the treble side. Serial number dates to 1947.
