Body Details: Thin hollow body with laminated maple back, sides, and top. The pickup routes were expanded to fit humbucker pickups. The bridge has been moved about 1/8" back to allow the guitar to intonate; the original holes were filled with maple and are hidden by the bridge thumbwheels. There is also an open hole on the treble horn from a previously installed master volume.

Neck Details: Set-in mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard and single parallelogram inlays. The nut is not original.
Electronics: The guitar has been fully rewired with new components and modern "T-Type" Gibson humbuckers. Controls include 3-way toggle selector switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup.
Pickup Measurements: 7.4k (neck), 7.4k (bridge)
Hardware: The tuners, pickguard, bridge, tailpiece, and bottom strap button are original. The knobs, switch tip, pickup rings, nut, and top strap button have all been replaced.

Modifications/Repairs: -The guitar has been fully rewired with new pickups and new electronics -The pickup routes have been enlarged to fit humbuckers -There is an open hole on the front of the treble horn -The bridge has been moved -The nut has been replaced -The knobs, switch tip, and top strap button are not original.
Case Details: Original hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely; the finish is semi-glossy with consistent vertical checking throughout the front and back of the body. The body has light scratches, and mild buckle rash on the back. There is an open hole on the treble horn from a previously installed master volume, and there are two open screw holes on either side of each pickup from the original dogear P90s. The back of the neck has light dings and mild finish checking, along with some scratches around the headstock transition. The headstock face has moderate cosmetic wear, with a few areas of chipping/finish wear.
Serial Number: 61033
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide and medium height with light wear. The serial number and appointments date the guitar to 1962.

If you decide you'd like to return an item, please contact your Sales Rep, fill out the Return Request form below, or give us a call.

If you placed your order on Amazon or eBay, we advise issuing the return request from your account on the platform of purchase - our Customer Service team will process a refund upon receipt of the item(s).

Most new items may be returned within 30 days of delivery and most vintage & used items may be returned within 3 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. Please pack the product safely for the journey back to us. If the product was shipped for free, the charge will be deducted from refund, unless the reason for the return is outside normal circumstances.

Please contact us as soon as possible if your order was received incorrectly, damaged, or defective. Most times we will give you an RA number (Return Authorization). Why is that number important? This will allow us to speed up the process of the return.

We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee based on the return condition. Some items we just can’t take back for returns, due to a one time function like strings or drums heads and other times it’s not sanitary to do so with microphones or harmonicas.
