Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound Brazilian rosewood veneer fretboard, clay dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has a "4JAN65D" heel stamp.
Electronics: Original gray bobbin Fender single coil pickups and original electronics, with 3-way toggle selector switch, master volume/tone controls, rhythm circuit on/off slide switch, and rhythm circuit volume/tone thumbwheels. The pot codes date to 1963/64.
Pickup Measurements: 8.3k (neck), 7.6k (bridge)
Hardware: Original; the trem arm, bridge cover, and original instruction manual are included in the case.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows light wear for its age; the finish has faded to a semi-gloss and has light scratches and small blemishes throughout. There are assorted small dings on the body, and the pickguard has shrunk over the years. The neck has some light dings on the back as well.

Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The frets are narrow and medium height with some light wear. The pot codes date to 1963/64; the heel stamp and serial number date to 1965.
