Finish Details: The body finish is original. The front and possibly the back of the neck have been oversprayed after being refretted.
Body Material: Alder
Body Details: Two piece solid alder body. The body has five non-original screw holes underneath the pickguard; the original pickguard has curled away from the body and was re-attached with extra screws by a previous owner. The serial number has been scribed into the back of the body, just below the neck plate. There is an 8-57 pencil date inside the middle pickup cavity.

Neck Details: Bolt-on fretted maple neck with dot inlays, skunk stripe, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has been refretted; the fingerboard and possibly the back of the neck have been oversprayed. The serial number of the guitar has been scribed in the back of the headstock, as well as into the bottom of the heel. There is also one extra screw hole underneath the "D" tuner. The neck heel has an 8-57 pencil date.
Electronics: Original Fender pickups and electronics, with 3-way blade selector switch, master volume control, neck tone control, and middle tone control. The pot codes date to 1957.
Pickup Measurements: 6.1k (neck), 6.0k (middle), 5.6k (bridge)
Hardware: The nut has been replaced; the original trem arm and bridge cover are included in the case. The pickguard is an aged Custom Shop pickguard; the original is included in the case, and has extra screw holes which had been added to flatten it onto the body.
Modifications/Repairs: -The neck has been refretted and oversprayed -The nut has been replaced -The pickguard is not original - Original in in the case -There are several screw holes underneath the pickguard from a previous owner flattening out the curled original guard
Case Details: Original hardshell case, which shows some cosmetic wear but is structurally intact.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows moderate cosmetic wear for its age; the body finish has light finish checking lines and patches of wear, some of which go through to the wood. There are many small dings and scratches along the edges of the body, mostly along the bass and treble bouts, as well as additional patches of bare wood. There is light buckle rash on the back of the body, as well as some case rash along the bottom edge. The back of the neck is smooth, with patches of wear on the fingerboard and along the sides of the fretboard. The holes in the trem cavity cover have been enlarged. The serial number has been inscribed into the back of the headstock, back of the body, and on the bottom of the neck heel.

Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and light neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide and fairly low with minor wear. The neck and body pencil marks, pot codes, and serial number date the guitar to 1957.
