Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Semi-hollow mahogany body with mahogany back cap. The neck pickup cavity has been routed for a P90 pickup, and a Bigsby has been installed.
Neck Material: Maple
Fingerboard Material: Rosewood
Neck Profile: "C" profile
Neck Thickness (IN): .85" (1st fret), .93" (12th fret)
Fingerboard Radius: 7.25"
Nut Width: 1-5/8"
Scale Length: 25 1/2"
Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with rosewood veneer fretboard, dot inlays, and heel adjust truss rod. The neck has been previously refretted, and one of the screw holes in the heel has been plugged and redrilled.
Electronics: Original bridge pickup and control pots; the neck pickup is not original, and the 3-way selector switch has been replaced with a modern switch. The pot codes date to 1968.
Pickup Measurements: 7.6k (neck), 5.9k (bridge)
Hardware: The bridge, tailpiece, and bridge plate are all non-original. The jack plate, neck screws, pickguard, and switch tip have also been replaced. The bridge plate is missing one of the mounting screws.
Modifications/Repairs: -The neck has been refretted -A Bigsby has been added, along with a new bridge and bridge plate -The neck pickup and switch has been replaced -One of the heel screw holes has been plugged and redrilled -Various other hardware (jack plate, pickguard, pickguard screws) is not original -The neck pickup cavity has been routed open
Case Details: Original hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows moderate play wear, consistent with its age. The finish has light scratches and various small dings/blemishes throughout. Some light finish checking is present, along with some buckle rash and finish wear on the back of the body. There are some pencil marks underneath the bridge plate, on top of the finish, from locating the bridge. Original thru-body string holes and ferrules are still present. There are also a few chips in the fretboard from a previous refret.
Serial Number: 236678
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The frets are medium-height with minimal wear. The serial number, neck stamp, and pots date to 1968.
