Finish Details: The body has been refinished. The finish on the neck is original.

Body Details: Three piece solid alder body. -The body has been refinished. -There are some plugged screw holes in the body near the bridge.

Neck Details: One piece maple bolt-on neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and block inlays. -This neck has been refretted.
Electronics: Modified electronics. Two Van Zandt Jazz Bass pickups, volume controls for each pickup, master tone. Neck volume pot and tone pot date to 1972. -Pickups are not original. -Bridge volume pot is not original (dates to 1965)
Pickup Measurements: Neck 7.2k Bridge 7.3k
Hardware: -Bridge has been swapped with a Ken Smith IV. The original bridge is included in the case. -A Hipshot D-Tuner has been installed, the original low E tuner is in the case. -Pickguard is not original. -Strap buttons are not original.
Modifications/Repairs: -The body has been refinished. -There are some plugged screw holes in the body near the bridge. -Pickups are not original. -Bridge volume pot is not original (dates to 1965) -Bridge has been swapped with a Ken Smith IV. Case Details: Original hardshell case is structurally secure with one broken latch and cosmetic wear. Includes the photocopied COA, bridge and pickup covers, original bridge, and original tuner.
Cosmetic Condition: This bass has fairly heavy cosmetic wear. -The refinished body has scratches, dents, blemishes, finish chips, buckle rash, and some plugged screw holes. -The neck has scuffs, dents, scratches, finish chips, and checking on the headstock.
Serial Number: 395757
Tech Notes: This bass plays well with low action and light neck relief. There is some fret buzzing past the 15th fret. The truss rod is adjustable. The serial number dates to 1974. -This bass was owned by Bardi Martin during the time he was bassist for the band Candlebox, there is a photocopied COA from Bardi Martin included with the instrument.
