Finish Details: The body has been fully refinished in Olympic White. The neck finish is original.

Body Details: Solid alder body. The body has been fully refinished, and there is a name written in Sharpie in the neck pocket.

Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound Brazilian rosewood veneer fretboard, dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The nut has been replaced. The neck heel has a "7 SEP 65 A" stamp.
Electronics: Original grey bobbin Fender single coil pickups and original electronics, with neck/bridge volume controls and master tone control. The electronics include the original brass grounding plates. The pot codes date to 1965.

Hardware: The nut has been replaced. The strap buttons, pickup cover, and bridge cover also do not appear to be original.

Cosmetic Condition: The bass appears very clean, as the body has been fully refinished; the finish has faded to a cream color. The body has assorted light dents/dings, and minor buckle rash on the back. The back of the neck has some small dings and light finish wear as well.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with medium action and light neck relief; the neck sights well up until the heel, where it begins to curve upward. The truss rod is adjustable, but does not affect this region. The bass has been set up to play cleanly in this condition. The frets are narrow and moderately low with minor wear. The heel stamp, pot codes, and neck plate serial number all date to 1965.
