Body Details: Fully hollow body with maple top, back, and sides, and painted on f-holes. The binding along the body has deteriorated and crumbled in many spots.

Neck Details: Set-in two piece maple neck with walnut center strip, bound ebony fretboard, thumbnail inlays, and zero fret. The fretboard tongue appears to have been reglued at one point. A number of spots of binding have been reglued, and one spot has been replaced.
Electronics: Original Gretsch Filter'tron pickups and electronics, with 3-way toggle selector switch, 3-position tone switch, mute switch, master volume control, and neck/bridge volume control. The leads to the selector switch appear to have been spliced. The pots are Allen-Bradley and appear original to the instrument, but do not have visible date codes.
Pickup Measurements: 4.1k (neck), 4.2k (bridge)
Hardware: The strap buttons have been replaced with strap locks.

Modifications/Repairs: -A small piece of binding has been replaced. -The leads to the selector switch have been spliced.
Case Details: Original hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows fairly heavy cosmetic wear; the binding is chipping and deteriorated in many spots along the body. The finish is glossy with scratches, small dings, and light scuffs throughout. The fingerboard binding has been reglued in several spots, and one small stretch has been replaced. The back and sides of the neck show many areas of finish wear, particularly near the fingerboard. The hardware has tarnished with age.
Serial Number: 48146
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10 gauge strings with a wound G. The frets are narrow and fairly low with mild wear. The serial number dates to 1968.
