Body Material: Maple Body
Body Details: Semi-hollow body with maple frame, top and back, and laminated maple veneer along the sides. The veneer has separated and cracked in spots, however structurally the body is secure. The veneer separation is cosmetic only. Several areas appear to have been previously reglued.
Neck Material: Metal Neck
Fingerboard Material: Brazilian Rosewood

Neck Details: Bolted-in metal neck which extends through the body to the tailpiece, with bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard and dot inlays. The neck does not have an adjustable truss rod.
Electronics: Original DeArmond single coil pickups and original wiring harness, with 3-way toggle selector switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The guitar is wired with a single mono output and no built-in fuzz circuit, however the electronics appear to be original to the guitar. The pot codes are obscured.
Pickup Measurements: 9.6k (neck), 9.6k (bridge)
Hardware: The nut has been replaced.
Weight: 7lbs 6oz
Modifications/Repairs: Several areas of veneer separation on the sides of the body have been reglued. The nut has also been replaced.
Case Details: Hardshell case. Included is a modern clone of the Messenger fuzz circuit in pedal form.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has nice aging present, with attractive finish checking on the body, along with numerous small chips and scratches. The veneer along the sides of the body has delaminated in spots from the internal frame, resulting in some cracks, chips, and small separations. The veneer is still securely attached, and the separations are cosmetic only. The neck is glossy with swirls and light scratches.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with medium-low action and light neck relief. It is currently set up with 10 gauge strings with a wound G, and does not have an adjustable truss rod. The frets are wide and fairly low, with minor wear. This model was produced in 1967.
