Finish Details: Original finish except for small touchups on neck binding repair and top crack repair.

Neck Details: Three piece maple neck with walnut stripes, bound Brazilian rosewood board and crown inlays.
Hardware: Original hardware except for replaced bridge and saddle.
Modifications/Repairs: -The original Tune-o-matic bridge has been replaced by a 50’s style rosewood open mustache bridge with a bone saddle, and the original 1964 extra large bridge plate was replaced by a 1950’s style smaller maple bridge plate. -The large suspension brace usually present inside these guitars has been removed. -The guitar has a single top crack repair to the lower bass area which has been glued, cleated and touched up. -A small section of neck binding, bass side of the neck between the nut and third fret, has been replaced. There is a finish touchup over the top of this replaced binding so that is is smooth and the color is matched. -A strap button has been installed in the heel.
Case Details: Original hard shell case.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has light play wear. for its age. The finish is glossy with light checking and dents and scratches throughout. The top has some light pick wear at the sound hole and two deep scratches on the lower bout. There is also a crack repair visible on the top. The back of the body has light buckle rash and some case rash near the heel cap. There is an oval shadow from a removed sticker on the back of the headstock.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide with medium height and light play wear. The serial number dates to 1964.
