Neck Details: Maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and thumbnail inlays. The binding has been reglued in several places, and is cracked and showcasing typical binding rot. A small section of binding is missing on the treble side of the tongue. There is a hairline crack in the back of neck along the centerline. The truss rod has limited adjustability.
Electronics: The electronics are mostly original with two replaced pots, and touched up solder joints. Two period Hi-Lo'Trons with three-position pickup selector and tone switches, master volume, independent pickup volumes, boost control, and passive/active switch. The passive active switch acts as a master mute in the middle position. No pot codes are visible.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 3.14K, Bridge 3.19K
Hardware: The bridge and bridge base have been replaced. A new Bigsby has been installed (cracked original is included in the case). All other hardware is original.

Modifications/Repairs: The neck binding has been reglued in several places, two pots have been replaced, solder joints have been touched up, the bridge and bridge base have been replaced. The Bigsby is not original.
Case Details: Original hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in good condition with wear typical of Gretsch guitars of the period. The binding is cracked and brittle, exhibiting typical binding rot on both the neck and body. The finish is faded, and the hardware has strong patina. The control plate is cracked. A small section of binding is missing on the treble side of the tongue.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with optimal action at the 12th fret. The frets are medium width and low, with moderate wear. The serial number dates to 1968.
