Neck Details: Set-in mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard and block inlays. The tuners have been replaced with Grovers, leaving open screw holes on the back of the headstock from the original tuners. The fifth fret inlay also appears to have been reglued.
Electronics: Original Gibson patent number pickups; the pickup covers are not original. The wiring harness is original, with 3-way toggle selector switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup; the pot codes are obscured.

Hardware: The tuners and pickup covers have been replaced.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely; the finish is glossy with light checking and minor blemishes. There is a small finish chip on the front of the bass horn, and some light buckle rash on the back of the body. The back of the neck has finish checking but is smooth. The edges of the headstock have minor bits of wear, and there are open screw holes on the back from the original tuners.
Serial Number: 857771
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide and low with light wear/divots, and the truss rod is adjustable. The serial number dates to 1966.
