Body Details: Semi-hollow body with laminated maple/poplar/maple back, sides, and top. The decal inside the body is lifting slightly.

Neck Details: Set-in three piece mahogany neck with bound rosewood fretboard, block inlays, and headstock volute.
Electronics: Original Gibson humbuckers with patent number sticker and original wiring harness, with 3-way toggle selector switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The pot codes are obscured by corrosion, but the appear original to the guitar.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar is very clean for its age; the finish is glossy with light scratches and small areas of hazing. There is some minor wear along the edges of the binding, and assorted other minor finish blemishes. There is a small chip in the fretboard by the 5th fret inlay, which does not affect playability.
Serial Number: 929861
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action; the neck has a slight swoop upward at the tongue on the treble side, but the guitar has been set up to accommodate this. The frets are wide and fairly low with light wear. The serial number dates the guitar to between 1970-72; the neck construction and body appointments date the guitar to 1972.
