Body Details: Spruce top with maple back and sides. "7219H" stamped inside the back. -The brace on the back of the body has separated and been reglued. There are still some gaps along the glue joint but the brace is securely attached to the back. We have taken photos of the brace to show the repair.

Neck Details: Mahogany set neck with rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. -A series of numbers has been scratched into the back of the headstock.

Hardware: -Tuner buttons appear to have been replaced. -Pickguard is missing. -The middle of the bridge (mostly affecting the D and A strings) has started to bend from string tension over the years, this mandolin still plays well with low action and minimal buzzing.
Modifications/Repairs: -The brace on the back of the body has separated and been reglued. There are still some gaps along the glue joint but the brace is securely attached to the back. We have taken photos of the brace to show the repair. -A series of numbers has been scratched into the back of the headstock. -Tuner buttons appear to have been replaced. -Pickguard is missing.
Case Details: The original case is structurally secure with cosmetic wear.
Cosmetic Condition: This mandolin is in good shape for its age. -The body has weather checking, scratches, dents, some minor finish chips, and light buckle rash. -The neck has scratches, dents, some finish chips, and a series of numbers has been scratched into the back of headstock.

Tech Notes: This mandolin plays well with low action and light neck relief. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets are in good shape. The factory order number dates this instrument to 1942.
