Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Mahogany back and sides with spruce top. The top has a large repaired crack extending underneath the pickguard, and there are two repaired cracks on the sides of each bout. The top crack has had missing wood partially replaced, most of which is concealed by the pickguard. The bass side crack was reinforced with muslin and glue, while the treble side crack has been reinforced with a thin mahogany cleat. A portion of the binding on the back of the treble shoulder has been replaced.

Hardware: Original. The bridge has been removed and reset, and the saddle shaved down to compensate for the neck angle.

Modifications/Repairs: -Several braces have been reglued -The pickguard was removed, flattened, and reglued as it had shrunk with time and pulled up a piece of the top. This piece has been flattened and reglued, and a small bit of missing wood has been replaced. -Two cracks in the sides of the body have been repaired -The bridge has been removed and reset -Much of the binding has been reglued. A small portion of the binding on the back of the treble shoulder has been entirely replaced.
Case Details: Original hardshell case. The handle has been replaced.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely, with numerous small finish dings, scratches, and patches of play wear present. The pickguard has shrunk, which pulled up part of the top; the pickguard was removed, flattened, and reglued following repair of the top. There is a small footprint showing the original size of the guard. The sides and back have numerous scratches, and there are two repaired cracks on the sides of the body. The neck is glossy and smooth with a few small dings.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and mild neck relief, and is currently set up with 12-53 phosphor bronze strings. The neck is somewhat underset, and the saddle has been shaved down to compensate for the lower neck angle; the guitar plays cleanly and comfortably in this condition. The narrow frets are fairly low with some large divots present under the treble strings. The serial number date this guitar to 1971.
