Body Details: Neck through body design with mahogany wings and walnut cap. There is a filled hole on the back of the neck heel from a formerly installed strap button.

Neck Details: Neck-through body design with five-piece maple/walnut laminated neck, unbound rosewood fretboard, oval inlays, and twin heel-adjust truss rods. The neck has been refretted.
Electronics: Original electronics, with neck and bridge pickup volume controls, neck and bridge tone controls with 3-way Q switches, middle position dummy coil, four-way rotary pickup selector switch (with mute position), 5-pin DIN power and stereo audio connector, and 1/4" mono output. The bass includes the offboard DS-5 power supply and preamp, enabling stereo operation. The back of the bass has four small trimpots to control gain and bass for both pickups.

Cosmetic Condition: The bass shows light cosmetic wear, with various small scratches, dings, and other minor blemishes on the glossy finish. There is light finish checking and tarnish on the hardware as well.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. Both truss rods are adjustable, and the frets are tall with minor wear. The serial number dates the bass to 1978.
