Neck Details: Glossy two-piece maple neck with unbound maple fingerboard and black dot inlays. There is a slight humidity separation at the heel along the center line, which does not affection function.
Electronics: Original humbuckers, pots, and wiring. The pots have 1977 codes. Controls include a 3-way pickup selector, volume pots for each pickup, tone/coil-tap pots for each pickup (10 is single-coil, 9-0 is humbucker), and phase reversal switch.

Cosmetic Condition: This bass light play wear for its age. The neck and body have minor scratches and dings throughout, and the pickguard has some scratches from play wear. There are two small seam separations, one at the heel end of the fingerboard and one on the top of the treble side of the body, both of which are stable and cosmetic only.

Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are tall and show only minor signs of play wear. The pot codes date to 1977 and the serial number dates too 1978.
