Neck Details: Glossy maple neck with walnut stripe, unbound ebony fingerboard, and pearloid triangle inlays -the neck has been refinished -the original rosewood fingerboard has been replaced with an ebony board -a small crack on the back of the neck near the 5th fret has been repaired
Electronics: Original pickups and wiring. Controls include a 3-way toggle switch, volume and tone pots for each pickup, and mono/stereo output jacks

Hardware: -one truss rod nut has been replaced with a Gibson nut -the original bridge has been replaced with a Fender-style bridge -a pickguard material cover has been made to mask the original bridge route

Cosmetic Condition: The bass has light play wear for its age. The headstock, neck, and body have scratches and dings throughout. There is a repaired crack on the back of the neck near the 5th fret. The hardware is lightly tarnished and the finish has worn to a nice patina.
Serial Number: MG2898
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. Both truss rods are adjustable. The frets have recently been dressed, are fairly low, and show little sign of play wear. The serial number and pot codes date this bass to 1973.
